I needed a watch that was both an elegant status symbol but also wearable with a pair of jeans. It is hard enough getting through the day sometimes without having to worry that my watch simply was not right for my pants. So I was thrilled when I saw a good deal on Esq watches at the Watches of Dreams website. It was the kind of thing that was versatile and well crafted. Something that your average Joe might wear were he to be a classy and knowledgeable shopper.

Of course these Esq watches are great pieces but what makes them work so well in casual environments is that they have gone through ever conceivable effort to make them scratch resistant. This means I get to wear a sharp looking watch to the company golf outing and when a black tie event comes along I can wear the scratch free watch there as well.

Esq watches are a great balance of form and function. The sort of watch you could give your Dad for a big occasion or give your son expecting him to eventually “get it.” Mine rarely leaves my wrist and I would imagine your’s wouldn’t either.
